Our Programs & Services
The N’Mninoeyaa Community Support Services program is committed to providing the highest quality of care for our elderly and for our people living with disabilities.
Our goal is to facilitate access to diverse traditional healing services and cultural programming for our communities and to actively advance cultural safety in the delivery of primary health care.
We provide nutrition counselling and education; Increase the number of people practicing control over their diabetes; Reduce incidence of complication of diabetes.
This is a collaboration project between N’Mninoeyaa, Health Sciences North, Shkagamik-Kwe Health Centre, Noojmowin Teg Health Centre and Union Of Ontario Indians.
Our team provides services through community-based health centres and to the urban aboriginal population residing in Sault Ste. Marie through the Indian Friendship Centre.
